RMCS will be conducting free Diversity Education Workshops every Friday, starting October 18th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at our No. 3 Road offices. These workshops are geared towards business owners, employers, and organizations – but everyone is welcome to attend! Learn why Diversity is an important and necessary strategy for today’s changing marketplace.
Registration, refreshments, and networking opportunities begin at 9:00 AM. Workshops begin at 9:30 AM.
We provide four unique workshops:
Friday, October 18th
Opens a basic understanding of diversity by looking at the different dimensions of diversity, challenging assumptions, and finding ways in which to perform with awareness in the workplace.
Friday, October 25th
Recruiting and Retaining Diversity Talent
Provides tools and recommendations for hiring and retaining a diverse workforce, and discusses how to support new employees.
Friday, November 1st
Cross-Cultural Conflict Resolution
Builds a basic knowledge of conflict resolution, and strengthens skills for addressing cross cultural conflicts in the workplace.
Friday, November 9th
Power and Privilege
Introduces and examines race theory of Power and Privilege, offering participants a safe forum to explore how it affects daily interaction in our lives and workplace.
