Eat Talk Connect
We want to thank all the participants who made EAT TALK CONNECT – a ‘power lunch’ for new Canadians and Richmond city officials- possible.
On May 14, 2012, 20 new Canadians cooked homemade, packed lunches for two. The city staff, city officials, city councillors and new Canadians then sat down for an intimate lunch to share in a conversation about resettlement, local customs and experiences of building a more inclusive community. The enthusiasm and openness of the participants created a welcoming environment.
